The 4-player version of this game is Gottlieb's 1975 'Spirit of 76'. A special 2-player Add-a-ball version, Gottlieb's 1976 'New York', was made in celebration of the 1976 lifting of the laws that had banned pinball in New York. Gottlieb Domestic & Export Sales Sheets for Pioneer: 3625 total Domestic Sales: 2550 Export Sales: 1075 The above total does not include 108 Sample games produced in 1975 per handwritten documentation identified by Wayne Neyens as coming from Bob Malvasio, a draftsman for Gottlieb whose initials RHM can be found on schematics.

Plunge for "C" lane - only available from up top - completing A,B,C,D,E lanes for double bonus

Unfortunately your main bonus maker is drops as you learn the game. Would suggest avoiding the middle at all costs until letters and drops are cleared. Best advice on shots: aim for the middle drops first and then chip the outer ones

Also game is set up to be floaty. If shots are drifting left or right towards the inlanes, they will more than likely roll to the outlanes. Would suggest some light nudging if you recognize this
