Pinball Magic

8 190 reviews

Capcom equipped some of these games with a ticket vender. Evidence of this can be seen on the front of the cabinet below the ball shooter, where there is a horizontal slot positioned even with the coin door lock, from which the tickets would dispense. Below that opening is a red light indicator to alert the operator when the supply of tickets was low. Reportedly this game has a Buy-In feature but it is not listed in the manual's list of options. The manual does refer to a button on the cabinet front as the "continue game button switch". In the Files Section are two portfolios containing images of two different Engineering Prototypes of this game. When a whitewood was approved for release to production, a sequentially-assigned project number was assigned to the game and engineering drawings were started. The Project Number for this game was "PB-1". This number appears on the playfield under the cardholder.

Short plunge the ball into the magic hat (awards 5M or will start "Mayhem" when lit).

On ball one, a full plunge will score the first trick, as it goes around the loop you can easily do a one timer up the ramp to lock ball 1

If struggling to complete a trick, hitting captive ball will eventually award "Spot Trick", spots it for you! Won't work on boss, though.

First "Matra Magna" (boss) trick, Silence Critics, can be done by rebound from post near magic hat, if it goes into lane and hits switches!
