Pictured in this listing is a Sample game with serial number 01017 S. Both it and the game shown the manufacturer's flyer have a playfield that differs from production games as follows:
� the information above the Special insert does not contain the words "Target Value".
� the Special insert is red, not purple.
� the outlane inserts are purple, not white.
The only other difference we noticed is the placement in the backbox of the replay adjustment card on the inside wall instead of on the insert.
Cross Town and its add-a-ball version, Gottlieb's 1966 'Subway', were the last Gottlieb games to have the manual ball-lift.
The main goal is to get the red and yellow lights matching on the Centre playfield. Once this is done, hitting the standup in the centre will award BIG points.
Max points awarded is 300 points for the standup, otherwise only worth 10.
