Band Leader

1949opdb · GX21L-M9R9W

We previously showed a date for this game of November 1948. In The Billboard, Nov-5-1949 page 79, Keeney announced in an article dated October 29 that this game is on display in distributors' showrooms. The game in the manufacturer's flyer shows the three white posts in center playfield sharing a white rubber looped around them in an atypical way. Just below them, two green posts and a white plastic switch tower share a different white rubber between them. Several of the playfield images pictured here incorrectly show just one rubber looped around all five posts. One playfield shows two of the white posts have been moved from their original locations.
