This game was exported to Italy as Gottlieb's 1972 'Play Pool'. The replay versions of this game are the 2-player Gottlieb's 1974 'Big Shot' and the 4-player Gottlieb's 1973 'Hot Shot'. An "alternate backglass" is shown in this listing, having a Previous High Score display area that the other backglasses do not have. The glass was obtained at a swap meet and installed into the machine shown here. While the several white areas of this glass may have once been red but then bleached out due to red fade, that doesn't explain how the man's hair would have turned from red/blue to full blue. The origin of this glass and the reasons for its coloring are unknown.
